ANNAPOLIS, Md. - Navy women's track & field pole vaulter Jacqui Charnigo (Sr./Medina, Ohio) won an event to lead the Midshipmen to a third-place standing after the opening day of the Patriot League Outdoor Championship on Friday at Ingram Field. We are excited and hope to carry some of the momentum from today into tomorrow's events." Charnigo cleared 12'3-1/2" (3.75 meters) in the pole vault to record a season-best, ECAC qualifying mark and win the event. Teammate Jessica Schlaegel (So./Nashport, Ohio) also scored for the Mids, placing in a three-way tie for fourth place with a height of 10'11-3/4" (3.35 meters).
