Navy Wrestling Program Recognized for Classroom Success
2007-08 NWCA All-Academic Wrestling Team
Two-time All-American Matt Stolpinski and 2008 NCAA Tournament qualifier Spencer Manley were among the 88 Div. I wrestlers nationwide to be named to the 2007-08 National Wrestling Coaches Association's All-Academic Team, while the Midshipmen, as a team, tied for 23rd among all wrestling programs with their 2.933 cumulative grade-point average.

	4/29/08 Steele Wrestles His Way to U.S. Olympic Team Trials Navy junior Scott Steele put together a 5-2 record to finish seventh in the 120 kg weight class at the 2008 U.S. Freestyle National Championship held last weekend in Las Vegas, Nev. By virtue of finishing among the top seven in his weight class, Steele has earned the right to compete at the U.S. Olympic Team Trials in Las Vegas on June 13-15.
