Navy Water Polo Wraps Up Spring Season on Saturday
The Navy water polo team will wrap up its spring season this weekend with its annual post-season banquet on Friday night, then will host four games on Saturday and Sunday. The Mids will battle Eastern rival Princeton at 11:30 am and service-academy rival Air Force at 5:45 on Saturday. On Sunday, Navy will host the New York Athletic Club at 11:30 am and the Northern Virginia Club at 2:00 pm. All games will be played in Lejeune Hall and are free of charge.

Ten Mids Named to CWPA All-Academic Team
Highlighted by senior Eric Gardiner's and freshman Alex Buck's 4.00 GPAs, the Navy water polo team was well-represented on the 2007 CWPA All-Academic Team, released by the conference office recently. Ten Mids were named to either the outstanding (3.71 to 4.00 GPA), superior (3.40 to 3.70 GPA) or excellent (3.20 to 3.39 GPA) teams. In addition, the squad was one of seven teams to earn an All-Academic Team Award, boasting an overall GPA of 2.80.
