#9 Gators Defeat Mids in NCAA Opener
After holding off Navy to win the doubles point, the ninth-ranked Florida tennis team won four singles match in straight sets to post a 5-0 victory over the Mids, Saturday morning at Ring Tennis Complex in Gainesville, Fla., during the opening round of the NCAA Tournament.

Tennis Team Ready for NCAA Tournament
The Navy tennis team will begin play in its second NCAA Tournament in as many years Saturday morning when the Midshipmen face Florida in a 10 a.m. match in Gainesville, Fla.

Navy Tennis Program Honored by League
Five members of the Navy tennis program garnered postseason accolades from the Patriot League Monday afternoon. Nate Nelms and Johnny Waters were both named First-Team All-Patriot League, Jason Hill was a second-team all-league selection, Owen Bullard was tabbed as the league's rookie of the year and John Officer was recognized as the Patriot League Coach of the Year.
