Last weekend, the IC Sailing Team competed in four regattas. In the Hatch Brown Trophy hosted by MIT and Boston University, Navy finished 10th out of 18 teams. Martin Sterling and Maggie Reynolds led the way with a third-place finish in the B Division.

In the Fall #1 Regatta hosted by Ocean County College, Navy finished fourth out of 16 teams. Rob Ramirez and Claire Peterson finished third in the A division, Megan Magill and Jenny Sturzbecher finished fourth in the B Division.

In the New York Maritime Open held at SUNY Maritime, Navy finished sixth overall.

Lastly, freshman Royce Weber finished first in the Last Chance Laser Olympic Trial Qualifier. Royce will be competing in the U.S. Sailing Olympic Trials taking place in Newport, R.I. in the beginning of October.
